Carmen credits her mom as the person who has had the greatest influence on her athletic journey. Through every challenge, success, and opportunity, her mother's encouragement and support have helped shape both the athlete and person she is today.

Carmen is driven by her commitment to her teammates and her desire to never look back with regret. She wants to know that every time she steps onto the field, she has given everything she has. That mindset pushes her to continually improve so she never has to wonder, "What if I had worked harder?"

Carmen describes her game as observant and aggressive. She takes pride in reading the play, anticipating her opponents' next move, and playing with the intensity and determination needed to protect her team's defensive line.

As she enters her senior season, Carmen's goals are to enjoy every moment with her teammates, make lasting memories, and help lead her team to a second conference championship ring.
8. What are your plans after college?
Following graduation, Carmen plans to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biology before pursuing pharmacy school. Her long-term goal is to build a career in healthcare where she can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
9. What do you enjoy doing when you're not competing?
Away from soccer, Carmen enjoys reading, collecting seashells at the beach, spending time with friends, and watching Marvel and Star Wars movies. These hobbies help her recharge while balancing the demands of athletics and academics.

Carmen encourages young athletes to never give up on a dream they truly believe in. She understands that setbacks and injuries can be discouraging, but she believes they should never define an athlete's future.
